Subject Librarian

Meeting with the librarian was helpful to me.  This is my first semester at BYU and it made a big difference to have the librarian show me around the library site. Specifically, he was helpful in showing me how he does research. He showed me how he looks at how pieces are connected and how they reference each other.  The most useful thing he showed me is how to see what other sources referenced a piece.  I found this tool useful in finding how relevant a source is based on how it has been used by other people in the field.
