I was born and raised in Lakeville, Minnesota. I have one older brother and one sister who is fourteen years younger than me. Almost every Sunday, my dad's side of the family would get together for family dinner, so my cousins are almost closer to me than my siblings.
I love music. I have done over 15 different kinds of dancing and was on the dance team in my high school. I almost always have a song stuck in my head. My favorite instrument is the guitar because it brings back memories of my dad playing the guitar in our living room and my whole family harmonizing together to "O Brother, where art Thou."
I graduated high school in 2011 and am now majoring in Food Science (the best major for a starving college student who can do chemistry). I work in the Food Quality Assurance lab in the Eyering Science Center, and there I enjoy lots of free food!
I served a Spanish-speaking mission in Sacramento, California. I learned a ton from the experience, especially about loving those around me.
I hope to graduate in December of 2017 and I am so glad I made it into this class!
